Why do I have to confirm to join your mailing list?
We have had widespread abuse of our former "Join Our List" form.  People would sign up e-mail addresses that were not their own e-mail address. Mainly this was done to harass the real owner of the e-mail address.  Ex} A student would add his teacher's e-mail address to our list.

We have converted to this double Opt-In mailing list to ensure that only people who wish to recieve our monthly newsletter get it. Even if someone enters your e-mail address here,  if you do not respond to the confirmation you will not be added to our mailing list.

It is our greatest concern that we do not send any newsletters to someone not wishing to receive it.
