*** Note: This is the ONLY Awful
rating that we have ever received from a customer. We have sold many
of this very same item and this has been the only complaint or return on
this item. Obviously it did not meet the customers needs but the return
process is normally very painless. The main problem with the return
process on this order was that this customer called the shipping warehouse
(they open one hour earlier than the customer service center) instead of
the customer service center, to try to get instructions on how to return
the item. The employees at the warehouse are not trained on how to
process returns and were doing the best job they could to help the customer

needed a wheelchair IV pole right away in time for a trip. I just wanted to let you know that the Wheeled recliner chair for my mother was delivered yesterday and it was not only exactly what we wanted , it is of a better quality than we expected. The delivery went like clock work , even with a delivery change, from our home to the extended care facility. Your help was greatly appreciated. The delivery involved two trucking company's, and both were very helpful and cooperative. Please know that when we are in need of another piece of equipment or device ; in the medical line , you and" Medical Products Direct" will be our first choice. Thank you. The following e-mails were from a customer that
ordered a bariatric shower chair that converted from use in a shower stall
to a bathtub. They were having difficulty separating the shower stall
nest so they could use it in a bathtub. This chair was built for persons
up to 650 lbs so it was put together VERY well, almost to the point of not
being able to separate the attachment that allowed them to convert it from
tub to shower use. Although there was a problem with the product by
the customer we wanted to show that our customer service extends after the
sale - not just until the sale is made.
John and I want you to know that we are very pleased with the convertible
bariatric bath/shower chair.We finally found a gorilla to separate the pieces.
While even he had difficulty taking them apart -- and we're sort of wondering
how we'll ever get the pieces back together when the time comes to move the
unit into the shower -- we are delighted with the quality of workmanship
and overall efficiency of the design.Many, many thanks for your help. This
is a well built, hard-to-find-product that certainly deserves greater exposure
in the marketplace.Of course, because of the difficulty of separating and
reuniting the pieces, it should not be represented as a product that can
be readily switched from tub to shower and back again, but it certainly solved
our problem, which was finding something that would serve in the tub as we
waited for the contractor to renovate the bathroom. John actually admitted
this morning that the tub-only unit is so comfortable and well designed,
he could actually consider postponing the renovations indefinitely! |
